The Ultimate Roofing Solution
There are a wide range of roofing material and options on the market, but a metal roof is the best solution when you consider the following benefits:
- Metal roofs last 40 years or more, while traditional asphalt shingles only last 10-12 years before costly repairs are required.
- A metal roof is more energy efficient and can lower your home utility costs vs. conventional roofing materials.
- Installing a Roof Mart metal roof will increase the resale value of your property.
- Metal roofs are available in a wide range of profiles and colors to enhance the beauty of your home.
Keep Your Family Safe & Protect Your Most Important Asset
For most people, a home is their single most important asset, providing safety and financial security for their family. There is no better way to spend your hard-earned money than a metal roof. It will be one of the most important investments to protect your family and the value of your property.
Increases Home Value
Installing a Roof Mart metal roof will increase the resale value of your property. A metal roof reduces the risk of fire from sparks and burning debris and, in many cases, will reduce your insurance premiums. Impact and fire resistant ratings certified by UL (Underwriters Laboratories).
Better Performance, Low Maintenance
A metal roof provides superior performance vs rain, wind and hail. And, unlike conventional roofing, metal roofs do not dry out or crack with age. Traditional asphalt roofs also have binders and fillers that promote biological growth, while a metal roof prevents staining and streaking caused by algae and other organic matter. A metal roof weighs less than a traditional asphalt roof, which reduces the vertical compression on your home’s frame and foundation.
Energy Efficient & Environmentally Friendly
Unlike asphalt shingles that absorb heat; a metal roof reflects heat and sun and is more energy efficient. Tests have shown that a metal roof can reduce both cooling and heating costs. Each year, millions of pounds of asphalt shingles are dumped in landfills. A metal roof last 3-4 times longer than a traditional asphalt roof, so it uses material more efficiently and reduces waste. Some of our metal roofing meets the criteria for recycled content.

These are some common signs that it may be time to replace your roof.
Time: asphalt shingles normally last 10-12 years. If your current roof has reached this point or toward the end of the warranty, it is probably time to consider replacing your roof.
Appearance: curling, cupping, cracking, missing shingles, staining and streaking from algae growth, and missing shingle granules (bald spots) are all potential indicators that your roof may need to be replaced.
Leaks/Water Damage: water marks, moisture stains or peeling paint in the attic, ceiling and walls are telltale signs that you have an issue with your roof that may require replacement. A sagging roof could also indicate water damage undermining the integrity of your roof.
Galvalume roofs have a 20 or 25 year warranty depending on the type of coating selected.
Painted roofs have an additional warranty against premature fading.

In most cases, yes, due to the lighter weight. This also eliminates the costly problem of tearing off and disposing of old shingles. Remember to refer to local building codes before you begin installation.

Yes. We stock various types of insulation and underlayment that can be used with metal roofing. Using a radiant barrier with a properly ventilated home reduces your utility expenses for years to come.

It depends on the type of insulation. When properly installed over underlayment and plywood with a drywall ceiling and attic insulation, the difference in sound is negligible.
Metal roofing costs slightly more than a twenty year asphalt/fiberglass shingle roof, but will far outlast conventional shingle roofing. When compared to some of the current architectural and dimensional shingles, metal roofing is very competitively priced.
Metal roofing is the preferred roofing choice in hail-prone areas. Hail causes conventional roofing materials to break, split and cause tear-off damage. Hail will not penetrate a metal roof.
Yes. When material is received, bundled panels should be inspected for moisture. If there is moisture, the panels should be separated and dried. Reasonable care should be taken when handling painted surfaces during installation in order to protect the finish. Although the painted finish is tough and provides impact resistance, panels should be lifted off of a bundle – not dragged off. Dragging panels across the surface of another panel will mar the finish. Cut-resistant gloves and protective sleeves should be worn when handling metal panels and trim accessories. Use extreme caution when walking, sitting, standing or kneeling on metal roofing to avoid falls. Metal roofing panels may have a light coating of oil on them to help aid in the manufacturing process and protect from moisture prior to installation. Metal roofing panels are slippery when wet.
